Product Overview

The 1794-OE4 is an analog output module from the Allen-Bradley Flex I/O family. It provides four single-ended output channels. You can configure each channel for 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, +/-10 Volts DC, or 0 to 10 Volts DC. The module uses pulse width modulation as its conversion type. It has a conversion rate of 1.024 ms for all channels. The data format is left justified, 16-bit two's complement. Resolution is 12 bits plus sign. This gives a voltage increment of 2.56 mV per count and a current increment of 5.13 µA per count.

Installation and Maintenance Guide

The 1794-OE4 mounts on a DIN rail. It requires one compatible terminal base. Supported bases include 1794-TB2, -TB3, -TB3S, -TB3T, -TB3TS, and -TBN. The module has a keyswitch position of 4. No individual channels are isolated. The module does not need calibration. An external DC supply of 10.0 to 31.2 Volts DC is required. The module has a green/red power and status indicator. Use proper wire size as determined by the terminal base. Ensure operating temperature stays between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius.
