Installation & Maintenance Guide

Install the module in a compatible 1771 chassis. Ensure keying bands are between correct pins. Use the 1771-WH wiring arm for field wiring. To replace the module, remove the wiring arm without disconnecting wires. This simplifies maintenance. The module supports series D and later. It works with 1/2, 1, and 2-slot addressing. Power down the chassis before insertion. Verify the backplane current does not exceed 195 mA.
