Installation & Maintenance Guide

Mount the module to a compatible wiring base. Use the 1734-TB or -TBS base. Align the keyswitch to position 2. Slide the module onto the base. Ensure proper locking. Connect the RS232 cable to the terminal block. Provide an external DC power supply of 24V nominal. The power range is 10 to 28.8V DC. Check the module status LED after power-up. The LED should show solid green. Configure the communication parameters in your system. Set baud rate and character framing as needed. Use the software to set start and end delimiters.
