Installation & Maintenance Guide

Mount the module on a DIN rail. Attach the rail every 200 mm using appropriate anchors. Use zinc-plated yellow chromate steel DIN rail. Make all connections to the removable terminal block (RTB) at the bottom. The RTB accepts 2-wire or 3-wire sensors. Set the keyswitch to position 1 before installation. The module communicates via the POINTBus backplane. No separate power supply is needed for the module. Power comes from the communication adapter. The front panel shows status LEDs. Write the node address manually in the writable area. For maintenance, inspect the LEDs for fault indications. Replace the module if an unrecoverable fault occurs.
