The Allen-Bradley 1762-OB8 is a solid-state expansion module from the MicroLogix 1200 series. It adds 8 digital DC sourcing outputs to your control system. Installation & Maintenance Guide
Mount the 1762-OB8 on a standard DIN rail next to the MicroLogix 1200 controller or other expansion modules. Ensure the backplane connector aligns properly and the module snaps into place. Use a 24V DC power supply with adequate capacity for all outputs. Wire each output terminal to the load, observing correct polarity for sourcing outputs. Maintain clearance for airflow and avoid exceeding the 55°C ambient temperature. Periodically check terminal connections for tightness and inspect for dust or moisture. Replace the module immediately if output failure or physical damage occurs. Always disconnect power before servicing.
