The 1734-IM2 digital AC input module belongs to the Allen-Bradley POINT I/O family. It offers two non-isolated inputs for 220 Volts AC. This module is one of the smallest input modules in the series. It provides real-time status indicators for easy monitoring. The module uses a key switch position of 8 on the mounting base. Its compact size saves valuable panel space.

Installation & Maintenance Guide

Mount the module on a DIN rail. Use terminal bases 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TOP, or 1734-TOPS. Wire with 14 to 22 AWG solid or stranded copper wire. Ensure the wire insulation is rated for 75 degrees Celsius. Rotate the keyswitch to position 8. Connect the AC line and neutral to the input terminals. Check the status LEDs for proper operation. No regular maintenance is required beyond periodic inspection.
