Installation & Maintenance Guide

Install the 1794-OB16P on a compatible terminal base. Use a DIN rail for mounting. Hook the terminal base over the top of the rail. Slide it tight against the adjacent module. Push until it locks. Wire field devices to the terminal strips. Use the top strip for I/O signals. Use the middle strip for common and bottom for supply voltage. Ensure external DC supply is 10 to 31.2V DC. The module does not require isolation between channels. Regularly check for loose connections and clean dust.
