Install the module into any available 1746 chassis slot. Do not use slot 0. Set the J4 jumper for RACK or EXT power as needed. Wire the field outputs to the terminal block. Use shielded cables for best signal quality. Check the LED indicators for proper status. Ensure the load resistance is above 1K ohm. The maximum load current is 10 mA. Keep the module within the specified temperature range. Regularly inspect connections for tightness. Replace the module if the LED shows a fault.
