Installation & Maintenance Guide

Install and ground the chassis first. Then mount the power supply. Insert the module into a slot. Use the correct RTB for wiring. The 1756-TBCH uses cage clamps. The 1756-TBS6H uses spring clamps. Connect field wiring to the RTB. Attach the RTB to the module. Use a 5x20mm 800 mA fuse. Recommended fuses are Littelfuse SP001.1003 or Schurter 216.800. Check LED indicators for status. Replace the RTB during module swaps. This avoids rewiring and saves time.
