The Allen-Bradley 1734-EP24DC is an expansion power supply for POINT I/O systems. It passes field power to modules on the right side. This unit extends backplane bus power to support up to 17 I/O modules. It separates field power from the left side module. The dark gray color allows easy visual identification. This module works with any 1734 POINT I/O adapter.

Installation & Maintenance Guide

Mount the module horizontally or vertically. Follow the orientation of the POINT I/O system. Install the module on a DIN rail. Connect input power to the terminals. Observe proper polarity. The unit includes a status indicator for field power and 5V system power. If input voltage drops out for 10 ms at maximum load, output stays within spec. No routine maintenance required. Always disconnect power before servicing.
